Welcome to the Play-Lounge @ Amaya Papaya! The space is an open area divided into sections that can be rearranged. Each play area features age appropriate toys that will encourage skills important to childhood development. Within the play areas are "Lounge Areas"; comfortable seating that will allow parents to watch their children and feel comfortable at the same time. A lot of the toys and equipment in the Play-Lounge @ Amaya Papaya are wooden and were chosen with the environment in mind. They are also kid powered by design to encourage children to use their imagination. The Playlounge @ Amaya Papaya is a eclectic mix of hip and classic fun wrapped into one place.

Construction Corner is an area filled with wooden blocks, a work bench, cars, trains, puzzles and other cool things to build, break and fix! Constructing helps improve had eye coordination, logical thinking and spatial awareness.

Sensory Sand Box is filled with sand especially designed for indoor play. As children enjoy playing in the sand they are discovering its properties, developing concepts of volume and learning to manipulate equipment. Children will enjoy searching for buried treasure on their own or parents can help lead the search with our educational treasure maps.

Creativity Corner is a mini art studio for the budding artist. This area features a giant chalk board, a giant easel, tables covered with paper for coloring, crayons, markers, etc. Parents can find directions and materials for weekly Earth Friendly craft projects that they can complete with their little artist while at Amaya Papaya or at home.

Neighborhood Square features all of the elements of your child's "neighborhood" in one place. A mini-grocery store stocked with play food, a cash register, shopping carts, a toddler sized kitchen, house keeping items, a wooden play house and a doll house. Playing in this area will encourage children to learn relationship and social skills by interacting with others in the "neighborhood".

Toddler Park is especially designed for children ages 0-2 years old. This area features age appropriate soft play structures, toys and manipulative's for small children to master. Parents can feel comfortable watching their little ones learn to scoot, crawl, climb and walk in this area especially designed for infants and toddlers.

Movement Zone features mini trampolines, slides, soft tunnels, a balance beam and other games that promote physical activity. This area encourages children with lots of energy to move, shake wiggle and giggle!

Imagination Stage is an area where children can pretend to be the star of their own show. Children can dress up in our whimsical costumes, put on a puppet show or sing and dance to the smooth tunes playing in the background.
